Snapshots from Comic Con

It’s time for a two-page layout. I attended Salt Lake City’s first Comic Con and this is the first layout I’ve done about it. I used a sketch from Page Maps.

This spread came together over a few days. I wasn’t intending to use so many varieties of washi tape, but once I finished the layout I realized it needed something more. Washi tape is always an easy way to add a little (or a lot) of color. I also covered the letters and wood embellishments with embossing powder. I really appreciate the fact that I’m (finally) using some of the embossing supplies I’ve bought over the years.

I finished this page three days after I started it. Do you ever work on a crafting project for days before it’s completed?
