Pick Your Pizza

Here’s another layout from my August trip. Every now and then I work on a page that makes me hungry. This is one of them. LOL.

Pick Your Pizza

Words cannot express how amazing this pizza was. The pepperoni was so good we couldn’t even wait to take a photo before eating some of it. :) To create the layout, I used a sketch from Cocoa Daisy. I like how it features lots of journaling space.

I ended up adding some blue ink to the patterned paper behind the photos to help them stand out a bit more. I’ve used this technique before and like it a lot.

Another interesting thing to note is that the blue strip of people I used on the corner of the photo is not a washi tape; it’s actually the bottom strip of a piece of patterned paper. One side has the barcode and the other had this design. I don’t often use these strips, but this time it worked great.
